Blackduck put itself in the running to win the the 27th annual DQ Grill and Chill Ely Legion Classic with a 5-3 win over Foley on Sunday morning.
Blackduck finished 4-0 in the nine-team event, and joins Madison (3-0) in the ranks of the unbeatens. Madison is set to play Deer River at noon, and a victory would force the title to be decided by a tournament tiebreaker - least runs allowed.
Thus far, Blackduck has given up 13 runs in four wins, while Madison has yielded 7.
